Registrant Transfer can be done if you’d like to switch Invoicing Party and continue using the same domain.

Step 1: To initiate registrant transfer, you will need to log in to MYNIC Selfcare portal at https://selfcare.ichoose.my/login using your admin access.

Step 2: Once login, click on “Domain” at left panel menu. You will see a list of domain names under your account. You can also search the domain name individually at the “Search” column, click on ‘Manage’ for the selected domain name.

Step 3: At the Domain Manager, click on the “Domain Transfer” at the menu tab.

Step 4: Fill in the information for the new registrant (contact details and name servers). Once completed, click next.

Note: A message will pop out on top left corner.

Message Example: “The expiry date for this domain is 27 January 2023” (as reflected in whois MYNIC)
“Payment made until the expiry date is not transferable/refundable.” This message serves to notify you that any registrant transfers made during the domain active period, paid amounr is non-refundable, and the domain new service period will be applied once the registrant transfer is completed.

We should note that once a transfer request is submitted, an email notification will be sent to the current admin, new admin and the invoicing party from MYNIC.

A minimum of 14 days is required for the deletion of the current registrar record. Rest assured; the process will not cause any affect to the domain services.

Transfer CANCELLATION: Registrant transfer requests can be cancelled within 14 days after submission via writing to MYNIC customercare@mynic.my by the domain’s Admin.
