Prerequisite

  • Login access to DirectAdmin
  • Non-Admin user required to Admin user to change the permission

 

Step-by-step Guide

1. if you are in Admin Level, make sure to Search for your domain in the text box or you can click on Domain to see the domain list and select your domain.

2. in the following page, Login as User.

3. Select the domain where you want to change the file permission.

 4. under Your Account section, select File Manager.

5. You may see the current permission as stated under “Perm.”.
Select the file and folders to change the permission. To change permissions for all files in a folder, make sure to tick the Recursive checkbox.
