🔐 VPN Connection: Manual or Automatic?
❓ Do we need to manually connect the VPN or will it be auto-connected?
By default, VPN connections provided by IP ServerOne require manual connection unless configured otherwise on the client side.
When you subscribe to our VPN service (typically used with Dedicated Servers, Co-Location, or Private Cloud environments), you will receive:
- A ZIP file with your VPN configuration files (e.g., .ovpn for OpenVPN)
- Connection credentials
- Setup instructions for Windows, macOS, or Linux
Once set up on your device, the connection will be manual by default, but you can configure your VPN client to auto-connect at startup, depending on the software you’re using.
