How to disable SELinux
Enforcing’ mode in Selinux is enabled by default.
1) Make a backup copy of SELinux.
cp /etc/sysconfig/selinux /etc/sysconfig/selinux.bak |
2) To disable Linux, run the following command:
cat /etc/sysconfig/selinux.bak | sed s/"SELINUX=enforcing"/"SELINUX=disabled"/g > /etc/sysconfig/selinux |
You can check SELinux status by running the command below:
sestatus |
