How to downgrade my volume size?

At this time, NovaCloud does not support directly downgrading the size of an existing volume through the Customer Portal. This is due to how disk resizing works in cloud environments; reducing disk size can result in data loss if not handled carefully.

To shrink a volume size, you would need to:

1. Create a new, smaller volume

2. Backup your data from the existing larger volume

3. Restore or migrate your data to the new volume

4. Detach the old volume and attach the new one to your instance

This process requires careful planning to ensure no data is lost.
