Where can I find the nameserver details for my hosting account?
Nameservers act as the DNS directory that tells the internet where your website and email are hosted. When someone enters your domain name, the nameservers guide the request to the correct hosting server.
However, nameservers are set based on your domain configuration, not automatically based on where your hosting is located. This means:
-
Even if your domain is hosted on IP ServerOne’s hosting server,
your nameservers may not necessarily be using IP ServerOne’s nameservers. -
You may be using third-party DNS providers or your own custom nameserver setup.
If You Are Using Your Own Nameserver
If you have created your own nameservers and pointed them to an IP ServerOne hosting server, our team can help verify whether the nameservers are correctly registered.
To do this, please contact our Technical Support Team by:
-
Emailing support@ipserverone.com, or
- Submitting a ticket through the Customer Portal.
Please include:
-
Your server IP, and
-
The domain name used to create the nameserver.
Our team will help confirm whether your nameserver is hosted under IP ServerOne’s infrastructure and provide the registered nameserver details if applicable.
