If I shelve my cloud instance, does it still deduct my credit?

Shelving a cloud instance pauses charges for compute resources such as CPU and RAM, since the instance is no longer actively running. However, credits may still be deducted for any associated resources that remain allocated, including:

• Storage (e.g., attached volumes or disks) (Charges continue)

• Reserved IP addresses (typically around MYR 0.043 per hour.)

• Snapshots or backups (typically around hourly rate of MYR 0.000800 per GB.)

To minimize credit usage, it’s recommended to review and release any unnecessary resources after shelving the instance.
