Issue/Error:

When sending email to Gmail, it returns bounced back error like below:

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: sample@gmail.com SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: host gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com [2607:f8b0:400e:c02::1b]: 550-5.7.1 [2002:d205:2c22:a:20c:29ff:fe7c:43a4 12] Our system has detected 550-5.7.1 that this message is likely unsolicited mail. Please visit 550-5.7.1 http://support.google.com/mail/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=188131 for 550 5.7.1 more information.

Reason:

Gmail may classify a message as spam and deliver it to the spam folder, we also try to find ways to reduce the amount of spam being sent to Gmail in general. If we detect that a message has a strong likelihood of being spam, we’ll block the message from being sent to Gmail. A message might be blocked if it contains suspicious-looking or spammy text or if the sending IP has had a history of sending unsolicited messages.

Solutions:

1. Set up DKIM for your domain

2. Set up SPF for your domain

3. Gmail is limiting email sending according to source IP. You will need to get the hosting server with dedicated IP.

4. You will need to follow Google Bulk Senders Guidelines

5. Last, you may need to refer Best practices for forwarding mail to Gmail
