This guide explains how to power up a cloud instance using the NovaCloud > Cloud Instances/GPU Instances section in the IP ServerOne Customer Portal. This function is commonly used in VPS and cloud hosting environments for restoring services such as websites, applications, or development environments.

Before powering up, it is essential to verify that the instance is in a Stopped state. Once started, the instance transitions to Running, making it ready for use again. This process helps reduce downtime and ensures services are brought back online efficiently.

Step-by-step Guide

Step 1: Log in to the Customer Portal

https://portal.ipserverone.com/

Enter your username and password to access the portal dashboard.

 

Step 2: Navigate to Cloud Instances

Once logged in, use the left-hand navigation menu and click on:

  • NovaCloud
  • Then select Cloud Instances or GPU Instances depending on your situation.

 

This will open a list of all cloud instances associated with the account.

 

Step 3: Check for the Target Instance

In the list of instances, locate the instance you want to power up. Make sure the Status column shows Stopped.

Step 4: Click “Action” and Select “Start”

For the selected instance:

  1. Click the Action button next to the instance name.
  2. Choose Start from the dropdown menu.

After that it will prompt another notification for confirmation. Simply click Start:

The system will initiate the power-up process, and the instance status will change to Active once the process is complete.
