Will my data be deleted when my cloud credit reaches 0?
Yes, your data may be deleted if your cloud credit runs out and is not topped up in time. Here’s what happens based on the service you’re using:
1. DNS Hosting
If you are using your cloud credit for DNS hosting, the service will be deleted after a certain grace period if no Cloud Points top-up is made.
Important: Once deleted, your DNS records cannot be recovered, and any services linked to the DNS (like websites or emails) will stop working.
2. Cloud Instances
If you’re using your cloud credit for Cloud Instances, the instance will first be shelved (temporarily stopped) and if there’s still no top-up after a set period, the instance and everything attached to it (such as data or snapshots) will be automatically deleted.
To avoid data loss, we strongly recommend keeping your credit topped up regularly. Here is a guideline on how you can top-up your Cloud Points: https://www.ipserverone.info/knowledge-base/how-to-topup-points-for-cloud-credit/
