Will I be charged when my server is offline?

Yes, charges may still apply even when your server is offline, depending on how the instance was created and its current status.

• For Cloud instances created through the Customer Portal:
  If you stop or power off your server, charges for the compute resources (CPU and RAM) and storage volumes will still apply based on your instance’s specifications.

  To minimize charges, we recommend changing your instance status to Shelved. When an instance is shelved, you are no longer billed for compute resources like CPU and RAM. However, your cloud credits may still be deducted for any associated resources that remain allocated, such as:

  • Storage (attached volumes or disks)

  • Reserved IP addresses

  • Snapshots or backups
