Why is my domain name not included with nameserver (DNS) services?
Domain registration and DNS hosting (nameserver services) are separate services. When you register a domain with IP ServerOne, it only covers the domain name registration.
During domain registration, you are required to enter nameserver details.
-
If you do not have a preferred DNS server, you may use IP ServerOne’s default nameserver.
In this case, our system will automatically set up a free DNS hosting plan, which supports up to 2 DNS records only. -
If you need to add more DNS records, you will need to upgrade to a paid DNS hosting plan based on your requirements.
-
Alternatively, if you already have an existing DNS provider (for example, Cloudflare or another DNS server), you may use your own nameserver during domain registration.
If you are unsure which DNS option to choose or need help managing your DNS, please contact our Support Team via the Customer Portal or email cs@ipserverone.com, and our team will assist and guide you accordingly.
