What happens if I renew the domain on the 40th day from the expiry date?
You may still renew your domain at the normal renewal price on the 40th day after expiry. However, please be aware that the domain can enter redemption status at any time during this period, especially if the renewal payment is made over the weekend. This may delay processing and cause the domain to fall into the redemption period.
Once a domain enters redemption, an additional redemption fee will be charged by the registrar, on top of the standard one-year renewal fee.
To avoid this, we strongly recommend renewing your domain before it expires or at least within the 30-day grace period after expiry. This ensures you can retain your domain at the standard renewal cost.
