What are the documents and details required to register for a domain name?
- For TLD domain, no supporting document is required. Customer can register the domain name as an individual or organization.
- For Malaysian domain, the supporting document is required depending on the domain extension.
- .COM.MY / .NET.MY / .BIZ.MY – Can be registered by any company that is registered in Malaysia
- Supporting document required: Form 9 (Certificate of Incorporation for SDN BHD) or Form D (Certificate of Incorporation for Enterprise/Sole Proprietor) or Form B (Certification from Registrar For Sabah/Sarawak).
- .COM.MY / .NET.MY / .BIZ.MY – Can be registered by any company that is registered in Malaysia

- .ORG.MY – Can be registered by other type of organization in Malaysia
- Supporting documents required: Certification (Perakuan Pendaftaran) from the relevant Organization.
- .ORG.MY – Can be registered by other type of organization in Malaysia

- .MY – Can be registered by Individuals, companies or organizations registered in Malaysia.
- Supporting document required: Photocopy of Malaysian Identification Card (for Individual) or Form 9/Certification from relevant Organization (for companies/organization).
- .MY – Can be registered by Individuals, companies or organizations registered in Malaysia.

- .NAME.MY – Can be registered by an Individual for personal use.
- Supporting document required: Photocopy of Malaysian Identification Card.
- .NAME.MY – Can be registered by an Individual for personal use.
- For other countries’ domain extensions, the supporting documents required depend on countries’ rules.
