🕒 How long is data retained in a NovaGPU instance if unused?

In our NovaGPU offering—GPU-as-a-Service—automated backups are managed using a tiered retention schedule:

• Hourly backups: retained for the last 15 hours
• Daily backups: retained for the last 7 days
• Weekly backups: retained for the last 4 weeks

 

✅ Why this matters

• Recoverability: Even if your NovaGPU is unused, data from recent activities is still protected through these backup tiers.
• Storage Costs: Unused instances still incur backup storage until snapshots expire per policy.
• Data Clean‑Up: Once backups exceed retention timeframes, they’re automatically purged, freeing up space and ensuring efficient storage usage.
