Root / Full Admin Access
✅ Yes — Full login credentials are provided for both NovaCloud and Dedicated Server subscriptions
When you subscribe to NovaCloud (subscription-based) or our Dedicated Server offerings, login details—such as usernames and passwords—will be sent to your authorized email upon provisioning. This gives you full root or administrator control.
📧 How you receive access:
- NovaCloud subscription plan: Credentials are assigned to the linked email once the VM is ready. (Source: IP ServerOne NovaCloud user guide)
- Dedicated server subscription: Log in to the Customer Portal → go to My Services → Dedicated Server → Manage → select More → Login under the Server Tag. Your IPMI username/password (or OS root credentials) will be displayed and emailed. (Source: IP ServerOne knowledge base)
🔐 Access types offered:
- IPMI: Full remote management (power, console, BIOS, OS install)
- SSH / OS root access: Direct root/admin login to the server OS
⚠️ Important Notes
⚠️ Important Note: You must subscribe to the service and be added as the authorized email contact to receive credentials. Manage your root credentials securely—they provide full system control. We recommend creating secondary admin users with sudo privileges via SSH and using root only when necessary.
