Can I transfer my domain from Godaddy?
Yes, you can transfer your domain from GoDaddy to another provider, including IP ServerOne. If you wish to transfer your domain to IP ServerOne, please follow the steps below:
-
-
Obtain the Authorization Code (EPP Code):
Log in to your GoDaddy account and retrieve the EPP code for the domain you want to transfer. -
Unlock the Domain:
Make sure the domain is unlocked and its status is set to “active.” -
Disable WHOIS Privacy Protection:
Turn off any WHOIS privacy settings that may prevent domain ownership verification. -
Submit the EPP Code:
Send the authorization code to cs@ipserverone.com to begin the transfer process. -
Invoice & Renewal:
IP ServerOne will issue an invoice for the domain transfer. Once the transfer is successful, the domain will be automatically renewed for one additional year. -
Approval Process:
The transfer process typically takes 5 to 7 working days for approval and completion. We’ll notify you once the domain is successfully transferred and renewed.
-
Before initiating the transfer, please review your domain’s current name server (DNS hosting) settings. IP ServerOne will transfer the domain without modifying any existing DNS settings. However, if your domain is using GoDaddy’s name servers, you may lose DNS hosting services once the transfer is completed, as GoDaddy may disable them.
To avoid service disruption:
