Why does enabling auto-renewal take so long?
The standard process for enabling auto-renewal is immediate if you already have a credit/debit card added to your account.
However, if there is no card saved in your Customer Portal, you will need to add your card details first. This process takes approximately 2 to 3 minutes, depending on the payment gateway.
Once your card has been successfully added, you can assign it to any service for auto-renewal. The recurring payment will then be processed automatically within 8 days before the service expiry date.
If your card is invalid or expired during the recurring payment attempt, the system will notify you that the auto-renewal has failed. In such cases, you will need to proceed with a manual payment to renew the service.
In some cases, enabling auto-renewal may take longer due to connection delays at the time you set it. You may try refreshing the page and attempting again.
If the auto-renewal function is still loading or not responding, you may submit a ticket through the Customer Portal or email cs@ipserverone.com. Our team will assist you further.
